The challenge

Garment buyers qualify suppliers in a fixed order: what can you make, how much of it, to what standard, and how fast. A supplier who cannot answer those four questions quickly gets skipped, because there is always another factory that can. Medusa Apparels runs three production streams - knit, sweater, and woven and denim - with different capacities and different partner factories behind each. That is genuinely useful detail to a buyer and genuinely confusing to present, because it is three businesses sharing one critical path. The audience is also international, reading in a second or third language, often on a phone, from a different timezone.

The approach

The site is structured around the qualifying sequence rather than around the company. Products and Catalogue answer "what can you make". Capacity answers "how much and how fast", broken out per production stream instead of averaged into a single meaningless number. Gallery answers "to what standard" with photographs of actual production rather than stock imagery. FAQ absorbs the questions that would otherwise become a first email. Every page ends at the same place: send a tech pack, request a quotation. WhatsApp sits alongside the contact form throughout, because for this trade it is the channel buyers actually use. Copy is kept plain and short. Long sentences and idiom are the first things to fail for a reader working in a second language.

The build

A static, self-hosted build served through Cloudflare - no third-party e-commerce platform, because nothing here transacts. The site's job is to qualify a buyer and start a conversation, and a catalogue plus a quotation route does that without the weight of a storefront. The product gallery carries the bulk of the page weight, so images are the thing the build is organised around: lazy loading below the fold, explicit dimensions to hold layout, and compressed derivatives rather than full-resolution originals. A light and dark theme are both supported, with the preference stored locally and applied before first paint so returning visitors never see a flash of the wrong one.

Capacity and headcount figures shown on the site are Medusa Apparels’ own numbers for its business, presented as the client provided them.
